the WOOD SToVE

i just realized i never posted any pics of the wood stove...

PICTURE taken AFTER CEILINGS, WOOD STOVE and the CONCRETE PAD installed:
-for anyone's info...we used the product Ardex for the concrete pad. we wanted the pad to be flush with the floor since it had to be so big. we put fiber cement board over the sub floor and then we poured a 1/8" thick ardex self leveling pad. Ardex is awesome...a little expensive, but GREAT if you want concrete and you need it to be thin.)



if you can see above the open wall separating the living and the bedroom... we'll put some sort of storage up there...

  • 4 new recessed can lights in bedroom
  • electrical for future ceiling fan
  • stubbed (correct terminology? ) for pendant fixture in living roo
  • stubbed for pendant fixture in bedroom
  • new downlight over our classy future hvac box
  • stubbed electrical for entrance lighting
  • stubbed for future covered back patio porch lighting...
  • i could go on
  • also, a lot of new outlets and switches for all those new lights!
we added recycled denim insulation in the cathedral ceilings with vapor retardant paper.
